.The ACC private beach at the north end of Lake Cobbosseecontee offers a sandy beach, picnic tables, playground, a float and boat slips. During the summer season, a lifeguard is on duty during peak hours to ensure the safety of our members and their guests. Our snack shack is staffed most days from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM to offer light lunches, frozen treats and soft drinks.
Though the beach is within easy walking distance of the Clubhouse, ample parking is available at the beach making it easy for families to unpack close to the picnic area. Our beach is especially appropriate for families with small children as it has plenty of shallow water for young children to play in. The grassy playground area includes a swing and slide as well as a net for volleyball.
The bathhouse includes separate restroom facilities for men and women. Receptacles are available for both trash and returnable bottles and cans. While our staff is responsible for the orderly appearance of the beach, we ask our members to help us by cleaning up after their visits.
