FAQ

Who belongs to ACC?

Our members represent local business leaders, managers, golf lovers, tennis lovers and family recreation enthusiasts. While ACC provides a fabulous opportunity for business networking, families have discovered that it also provides a great opportunity for outdoor family fun!

I am not very good at golf. What is the average handicap of your golfing members?

Our golfers, both men and women, have a wide range of golfing skill. For most of our members, it’s not about the golf – it’s about spending time with friends and meeting new people.

How long has Augusta Country Club been in existence?

The Augusta Country Club has provided its members with a great golf course, quality tennis courts and a lake side beach since 1916.

Do I have to golf to be a member at ACC?

No. We offer a social membership so that members can enjoy the social life the ACC offers without having to take up the game of golf... but it's there when you decide to check it out!

What if I need golf or tennis lessons?

We have a PGA professional as well as a tennis professional on staff for private lessons. Contact the Pro Shop for details.

What if I don’t have time to play 18 holes of golf at a time?

That’s the beauty of membership at ACC. Only have time for 9 holes? No problem. Contact the Pro Shop for a tee time and let them know you will only be playing 9 holes or tell them when you arrive. That allows them to plan for and coordinate the needs of other members’. Play at off times and just play 3 holes if that works for you!

What if I want to just stop by and practice?

The tennis courts and practice greens are available for your use whenever you have a chance to stop in, or before or after you play. As a member, you can use them anytime! They even have lights so you can use them in the evening. The driving range is open during the day from 7:00 AM until dark.
